A large and charming porcelain plaque in cream, olive green, yellow, and brown tones, featuring an intaglio moulded female dancer at work in the street, she holds a tambourine. Condition: light surface wear; fine glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1900, unmarked, probably Continental, the work signed with the initials "HL". Framed ready for hanging. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height including frame 34cm/13.5in, width 23cm/9.25in. Companion piece available to make a pair.
