1855 cut crystal scent perfume bottle with silver gilt turquoise top

A fine wrythen cut crystal dressing table bottle with rounded pillar sides, the embossed silver gilt screw top set with a circle of turquoise beads. The top is engraved with the initials 'HA' beneath a coronet, the bottle comes with a glass stopper, the under-base is embellished with a twenty four point star. Condition: tiny nick to one of the turquoise beads; one bead slightly different colour; minor surface age and use wear; nothing further found; good screw fit. Silver hallmarked for London 1855, maker's mark 'JH' for John Harris. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height including top 10.5cm/4.25in, width 6cm/2.5in, depth 6cm/2.5in.
