An excellent double ended sterling silver scent bottle engraved with foliate scrollwork. The cylinder body has a spring loaded hinged top at one end, and a cork lined screw top at the other, both ends are engraved with entwined initials. Condition: light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; good lid closures. Silver hallmarked for London 1880, somewhat rubbed maker's mark 'SM' for Sampson Mordan. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Length 10.5cm/4.25in.
