1890 Sampson Mordan cut crystal scent perfume bottle, silver top

A hobnail and diamond cut crystal cylinder form scent bottle, with a foliate scrollwork silver screw top - the latter engraved with entwined initials - and glass stopper. Condition: nibbles around the base; one or two tiny nicks to glass high points; stopper probably a replacement; nothing further found; good screw closure. Silver hallmarked for London 1890, maker's mark 'SM&Co' for Sampson Mordan. Article measured in centimetres and rounded up or down to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7.5cm/3in, diameter 2cm/0.75in.
