A 'lipstick' shape sterling silver scent bottle, with a hinged top - the latter with vacant cartouche - glass liner and glass stopper. The bottle is embossed with foliate scrolls and flower heads. Condition: light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good closure. Hallmarked for London 1899, maker's mark 'CB' for Charles Bryton. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 5cm/2in.
