A charming London Delft tin glazed tile in blue and powdered manganese with carnation corners and central octagonal framed scene featuring a figure in a landscape, with mountains and castle tower in the background and tree topped bluff to the left. Condition: minor edge fritting, mostly bottom right; light surface wear; some natural glaze pricks; nothing further found. Circa 1740-60. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 13cm/5in square.
