c.1830 Lithyalin glass goblet, Friedrich Egermann

A fine Lithyalin glass goblet of trumpet form on a facet cut stepped stem and slice cut solid base. The bronze lustre cased goblet is cut with blue flecked sea green roundels, facets and slices. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; one or two tiny natural specks in the glass; nothing further found. Circa 1830, workshop Friedrich Egermann, Blottendorf, Haida. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 15.5cm/6.25in, rim diameter 8.5cm/3.5in.
