An outstanding crystal scent bottle and conforming spire stopper, the bottle with a ringed facet neck over an indent cut spreading middle section on a facet cut pedestal base. Decorated with flashed ruby stripes, the glass is masterfully cut with foliate scrollwork, leaf sprays, shields and floral bouquets. Condition: minor rubbing to the ruby flashing; one or two tiny nicks to high points; light surface wear; minor bloom to the interior; nothing further found. Circa 1850, unmarked, probably Egermann, Nový Bor, Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 13cm/5.25in, diameter 11.5cm/4.75in. Second identical bottle also available to make a pair.
