c.1870 four-lobe enamelled glass goblet by Salviati #2

A four-lobe deep ruby glass on a hollow blown knopped stem and rolled foot, the bowl hand decorated with an enamelled and gilt scrollwork band between white bead and drop borders. Condition: light rubbing to the enamel; light age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1870, unmarked but unmistakably Salviati Venice. Literature 'Le Génie Verrier de l'Europe', Giuseppe Cappa, Mardaga, 1998, page 504. Article measured in centimetres and rounded quarter inch. 11cm/4.5in high, 7.5cm/3in wide, 6.5cm/2.75in deep.
