A rare relief pressed five tile panel in the original oak frame, featuring dark blue-green circular scenes of hunting and gaming, each framed by a brown wickerwork surround. Condition: slight variations in colour tone; light surface wear; light glaze losses to the circle outlines; back of the frame removed - but not the tiles - for inspection, one or two tiny nicks visible, otherwise tiles appear to be in good order; some wear to the wood frame; new tape backing applied to the frame; nothing further found. Circa 1870, fully marked to the reverse for Minton Hollins, Stoke-on-Trent. Framed and ready to hang. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Tiles 15cm/6in square, frame 19cm/7.5in high, 80cm/31.75in wide.
