c.1880 cut glass Vermouth decanter, flask

A tall bottle shape decanter and conforming plug stopper, the body cut in facets, ovals and pillars. The decanter features a flashed yellow label engraved with the word 'Vermouth' with additional leaf sprigs above and below. Condition: one or two small nicks to high points; some surface age and use wear; nothing further found; indented and polished pontil. Circa 1880, French. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 29cm/11.25in.
