c.1885 Pale Blue Glass Jug Pitcher with Silver Foil Inclusions

A splendid jug with a multi-crimped three way pull-down rim, and rustic pattern dab connection handle. The body is formed with clear glass over silver foil fragments over pale opaque blue. Condition: minor surface wear; nothing further found; snapped off pontil mark. Circa 1885, almost certainly Stourbridge. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 17.5cm/7in, width 9cm/3.5in.
