A delightful panel and cross cut crystal cylinder scent bottle, with a hinged silver plate top, and glass stopper. The top has a tiny Stanhope viewer showing 'Memories of Bexhill-on-Sea', St. Peter's Church Exterior, St. Barnabas Church, The High Street, The Band Stand, The Convalescent Home, Sackville Hotel. Condition: one or two very tiny nicks to high points and edges; minor age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good closure. Circa 1900, Stanhope images marked for 'McKee Dublin' and 'Made in France', original paper price label attached to the base. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 5.5cm/2in, diameter 2cm/0.75in.
