An Art Nouveau relief pressed tile with stylised central clover stem against an orange disk and outspreading whiplash leaves in olive on a steel blue ground. Condition: small corner chip to the reverse bottom left not visible from the front; light glaze losses to outline high points; one or two tiny edge nicks; light wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1905, five bar on a square back, possibly Tonwerk Offstein, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15.2cm/6in square.
