An impressive and tall crystal rose vase, the chimney body with a central diamond band over a facet cut conical base, the latter embellished with a sixteen point star. The body is masterfully engraved with whiplash leaves and flower heads and buds on long stems, the rim and base are decorated with engraved bands. Condition: some stand wear to the under-base; light age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1910, unmarked, Bohemian. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 30.5cm/12.25in, base diameter 8.5cm/3.5in, rim diameter 3.5cm/1.5in.
