A Modernist relief tubeline tile featuring a double arch design in pale blue, two window shapes in purple and five burnt orange squares, the whole on a cream ground. Condition: small corner chip to the reverse bottom right not visible from the front; minor surface wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1910, factory stamp back, Düsseldorfer Tonwaren Fabrik, Reisholz, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
