c.1910 Legras Montjoye acid cameo & enamelled anemone glass vase

An exceptional lightly ribbed cylinder vase, the top hand enamelled with polychrome dog roses and fine gilt leaves, the middle and base sections featuring hand decorated anemones on leafy gilt highlighted magenta stems. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light rubbing to the enamel decoration, mostly the gilt; light surface wear; very minor water bloom; nothing further found. Circa 1910, unmarked but definitely Legras France, see 'Legras Verrier', various authors, Argusvalentines France, 2002. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 25.5cm/10in, rim diameter 7.5cm/3in.
