A relief moulded Art Nouveau tile featuring a highly stylised circular floral motif in blue, olive and cream tones flanked by two bell-like designs in magenta, the whole on an olive ground. Condition: very tiny edge nick bottom left; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1910, grid pattern back, Wessel Bonn; Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15.2cm/6in square.
