A delightful footed bowl and cover, the latter with a ball finial, hand enamelled in black with a witty frieze of lively children playing in an outdoor setting, two decorative bands run below the scene, canopy lines enhance the cover and foot, bands of gilding complete the scheme. Condition: stand wear to the under-base, very minor rubbing to the enamel; minor surface wear; nothing further found.
