A long oval dressing table trinket tray, expertly acid cameo cut to both sides with a lime green motif of leafy dog roses on a rendered leaf pattern ground, the rim and base have a lime band, the under-base is embellished with a twenty four point star. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; surface wear to the inner well; microscopic edge nicks; nothing further found. Circa 1920, unmarked, stylistically similar to Val St. Lambert and St. Louis, but most probably Baccarat. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 3.5cm/1.5in, width 24.7cm/9.75in, depth 8.2cm/3.25in.
