A striking yellow ground circular container and cover, the latter hand decorated in raised polychrome enamel with a stylised daisy, leaf, wriggle-work and band, the container embellished with beading. Condition: some surface wear to the interior yellow colour on the floor of the base; minor age wear; nothing further found. Circa 1925, the under-base signed 'Scailmont D': Margot', design attributed to Charles Catteau. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 6.5cm/2.75in, widest diameter 13cm/5in.
