c.1930s Acid Etched Art Deco Glass Vase, Possibly Scailmont, Signed PD

A stylish smoky grey ball shape vase with a short neck, the body deep acid etched with bands, angular stripes, and geometric shapes. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface wear; natural striations and a few bubbles; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, acid etched mark 'P' within a 'D', possibly Scailmont and designed by Henri Heemskerk. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Height 22.5cm/9in, circa width 20cm/8in, rim diameter 8.5cm/3.25in.
