c.1930s moulded & cut citrine deco glass decanter, Rudolf Hlousek

An eye catching citrine glass Deco decanter, the front of the rectangular stopper and bottle high relief moulded and acid finished, the former with a bird amongst foliage, the latter divided into panels with a male and female hunter, a stag, a dog, and a bird. The sides and back of the decanter are cut with polished facets. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light age and use wear; very light interior bloom to the base; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, unmarked but almost certainly by Rudolf Hlousek Eisenbrod, Czechoslovakia. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 24cm/9.5in, width 12cm/4.75in, depth 7.5cm/3in.
