An arresting and unusual shape amethyst crystal vase, with an eight sided facet rim on a round neck, facet body, and solid round base. Condition: light surface wear; a small grit inclusion in the glass; one or two natural bubbles; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, signed with a 'Moser Karlsbad' acid etched mark used until 1938, possible designers include Alexander Pfhol, Arnold Zadikow, and Rudolf Eschler. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 29.5cm/11.75in, diameter 9cm/3.75in, weight 2.06kg/4.54lb.
