An impressive and very large Ikora bowl, with a tube rim and deep well on a flat base. The bowl is finished in a grey-green, lemon, and orange tone colourway with additional white webbing and powder patterns. Condition: light surface age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1940s-50s, developed by Karl Wiedmann and manufactured by the Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF) company in Germany, original paper label attached. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 8.5cm/3.5in, diameter 43cm/17in. weight 4.18kg/9.22lb.
