Early 1930s Leerdam Andries Copier double crystal candle holder

A stylish Deco candle holder in clear crystal, the double arms attached to an outer circle around a smaller circle and ball. Condition: small chip under the rim of one holder removed and re-polished; light stand wear to the under-base; light age and use wear; nothing further found. Designed in the early 1930s by Andries Dirk Copier (1901-1991) for Leerdam, acid etched 'LC' mark to the base, plus additional difficult to read symbols, possibly 'PAY8 GA8'. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 16cm/6.5in, width 21.5cm/8.5cm, base diameter 10.5cm/4.25in.
