Five Art Nouveau Tiles in Bespoke Holder #3



Four circa 1900 English partial relief polychrome Art Nouveau floral tiles on green tone grounds, maker's include Henry Richards and John Barrett, the second tile down is modern and made by Porteous, New Zealand. The tiles come in a bespoke black metal holder - made around fifteen years ago - with a pull-up handle for transportation and hanging, as well as ä punched screw hole. Condition: Tiles: some edge and corner nicks, some light surface wear; glaze crazing; Holder: some light scuffing, minor paint losses and previous mounting marks; nothing further found. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height to the top of the holder, excluding handle 82cm/32in, width 15.5cm/6in.
