An unusual and exceptional glass bowl and cover in the form of a game bird, the cover realistically hand painted with head and wings, the bowl with tail, wing tips and breast terminating in a domed spreading circular foot with gilded and white enamel detail. Condition: paint restoration to a small flake chip under the rim; minor rubbing to the decoration, light wear; nothing further found. Circa 1900, unmarked, Bohemian, probably Fritz Heckert.
