An attractive purple iridescent glass box and hinged cover. The lid is hand decorated in raised enamel with a gilt clover and whiplash leaf spray, the body is embellished with a berry and leaf band. Condition: light rubbing to the decoration; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; minor hinge play, good closure. Circa 1900, Bohemian. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Height 6.5cm/2.75in, diameter 11.5cm/4.75in.
