A striking clear glass bowl and cover, hand painted with fine filigree designs in black and gold, as well as white bead highlighting and gilt banding. Condition: pincer mark on the lid finial; some stand wear to the under-base, rubbing to the gilt banding, minor rubbing to the enamel; light age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1920, almost certainly designed by Adolf Beckert, Steinschönau and painted by Friedrich Pietsch.
