A handsome crystal bowl and cover, the lid finely engraved with olive sprigs, bell flowers and scrollwork. The bowl is mounted with a silver olive leaf and bead band, the lid has a silver leaf and fruits finial above a leaf and bud circle. Condition: light surface wear; nothing further found. Circa 1920s, French, silver hallmarked 950, maker's mark "EP" for Emile Puiforcat, 18 rue Chapon, Paris. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height including finial 16cm/6.5in, bowl rim diameter 12cm/4.75in.
