A splendid rhomboid shape citrine glass box and cover, the latter moulded in high relief and acid finished with the head and hand of a young girl her swirling hair decorated with flower heads, two love birds attend on either side. The container is cut with polished facets. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, unmarked but almost certainly by Rudolf Hlousek Eisenbrod, Czechoslovakia. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7cm/3in, width 13.5cm/5.5in, depth 10cm/4in.
