An interesting and stylish pale brown stained glass decanter and matching circular tray, the latter with recessed platform and central well. Both relief moulded pieces are decorated with rows of alternating bubble and geometric line triangles. Condition: light surface age and use wear; one or two natural bubbles in the glass; nothing further found; stopper and base scratch marked "16". Circa 1930s, unmarked, probably French. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Decanter height 24.5cm/9.75in, tray diameter 20cm/8in.
