A fine and heavy crystal paperweight with four clear oval reduction windows on a sixteen point hobstar and crosshatch base. The mound form weight is cut to clear with diamonds, blazes, and notches. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; one or two microscopic nicks to high points; nothing further found. Circa 1920s-30s, produced by Val St. Lambert. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7cm/3in, base diameter 9cm/3.75in, 1kg/2.2lb.
