A splendid clear trumpet shape vase on a facet cut skirt lower section and facet cut pedestal base, the latter embellished with a sixteen point spoke pattern. The body is cut with six oval lenses, each hand enamelled in polychrome with charming male and female figures in a country setting, the skirt is painted with single blooms and leaves. Condition: minor rubbing to the enamel, some light surface use wear and marking to the interior; one or two natural bubbles in the glass; nothing further found. Circa 1820, Bohemian. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 14cm/5.75in, rim diameter 10cm/4in.
