A fine white over cranberry cased glass vase of trumpet form on a round bun base. The vase is masterfully cut to clear with floral enamelled tapered sections, diamond clusters and alternating floral enamelled and gilt leaf-work shields, the body is further embellished with hand decorated intertwined gilt leaf tendrils. Condition: minor rubbing to the enamel-work, light rubbing to the gilt; minor wear; nothing further found. Bohemian, circa 1880. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 29cm/11.5in, rim and base diameter 9.5cm/3.75in.
