An excellent white over cranberry cased glass vase, with a flared petal rim over a club form middle section and pedestal base. The vase is masterfully cut to clear with gilt outlined Gothic windows, ovals and lenses, as well as diamond clusters, the body is further embellished with tiny hand decorated gilt dot roundels. Condition: some rubbing to the gilt, mostly the roundels; light wear; nothing further found. Bohemian, circa 1880. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 35cm/14in, rim diameter 9.5cm/3.75in, base diameter 11.5cm/4.5in.
