A rare cased Vaseline shaft and gourd iridescent vase, the lower section finished with salmon coloured flecks and spots. The vase is mounted with a charming three dimensional patinated spelter swift. Condition: light surface age and use wear; light rubbing to the bird patination; nothing further found; highly reactive to UV/Blacklight. Circa 1905, unmarked but almost certainly Poschinger. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 18.5cm/7.5in, width 8cm/3.25in.
