An eye catching umber red vase, with a facet cut spire finial lid, plain neck, stretched lightly convex blade cut body, and conical facet cut base. The vase is engraved and gilded with a stag standing between two tall pine trees. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; short engraving tool mark on the edge of the left tree trunk; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1920s, unsigned, Bohemian, very much in the manner of Moser Karlsbad and the Wiener Werskstätte. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height including finial 25cm/10in, base diameter 7cm/3in, width 6cm/2.5in.
