A bright and colourful clear glass bulbous bowl, the trumpet rim decorated in raised enamel with a band of yellow stars, the body painted with lilac flowering plants, large leaves, and insects on the wing. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; some light rubbing to the enamel; light rubbing to the gilt rim band; minor surface wear; nothing further found. Circa 1920s, almost certainly French, possibly Legras. Height 15cm/6in, width 18cm/7in, rim diameter 14cm/5.5in.
