A stylish Deco period crystal vase, the ribbed bell shaped upper section on a sloping facet base. The vase is decorated with black enamelled and frosted stylised panels, the base is embellished with black enamelled arrowhead shapes. Condition: stand wear to the under-base, light surface age and use wear; nothing further found. Late 1930s, shape identified in the Karl Palda 1938 50th anniversary catalogue, page 284. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 21cm/8.25in, rim diameter 17.5cm/7in.
