A fine blue over topaz crystal vase with a wide everted rim and ovoid body. The vase is cut with a pierced neck band above vertical pennants. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; one or two very tiny nicks to high points; light age and use wear, nothing further found. Circa 1930s, unmarked but definitely Val St. Lambert and almost certainly designed by Joseph Simon. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 14cm/5.75in, rim diameter 15cm/6in.
