A handsome Alfred Dunhill 925 silver gilt card or cigarette case with blue enamelled ends. The front is hand decorated with flying cranes, blooms and Chinese characters, the back with blooms and characters. Condition: some surface age and use wear, light spotting and rubbing to the gilt wash interior; nothing further found; hinge firm, tight lid fit. Glasgow import marks for 1927, stamped "AD" for Alfred Dunhill. 8cm/3.25in wide, 5.5cm/3.25in deep, 160gm/5.6oz in weight.
