A delightful novelty scent bottle holder in the form of an ornate Paris city lamp post on a cobbled street porcelain ashtray, a sign on the metal post reads "Paris" on one side and "Rue de la Paix" on the other. The three lamp unit has removable tops and contains small bottles of Corday Zigan, J & T, and L'Ardente Nuit. Condition: light losses to paint work; light surface wear; bottles have perfume residue; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, under-base impress marked "Corday Paris in France" and "Creation". Height 20cm/8in, width 9.5cm/3.75in, ashtray diameter 9cm/3.5".
