An elegant and slender crystal scent bottle, with a cork lined ribbed silver screw top. The bottle is cut to the front and back with step bands, sloped facets and combing around the base. Condition: one or two tiny nicks to high points; light surface age and use wear; minor dimpling to the top; nothing further found; good screw fit. Circa 1820, almost certainly French, silver not hallmarked but tested. Measurement based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 8.5cm/3.5in.
