An attractive lightly tapered pale blue opaline scent bottle, with a hinged brass top, suspensory chain, and glass stopper. The bottle has a a gilt shoulder cover outlined with fine dots, and is decorated in raised gilding with flower and leaf sprays, two leaf clusters are picked out in silver. Condition: light rubbing to the gilt; light age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good closure. Circa 1890, Bohemian. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7.5cm/3in, width 3cm/1.25cm.
