A pleasing crystal cornucopia laydown scent bottle, with a plain silver hinged top, suspensory chain, and glass stopper. The tapered body is cut with arched notch lines. Condition: very short fine seam split to the top, light surface wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good snap closure. Circa 1900, probably American, the top not hallmarked but tested. Article measured in centimetres and rounded up or down to the nearest quarter inch. Height 10cm/4in.
