A good George III laydown flat scent bottle, with a silver screw top, and glass stopper. The elongated oval bottle is cut to the front and back with star bursts, the sides with notches. Condition: one or two very tiny nicks to high points; light wear; nothing further found; good screw closure. Circa 1800-1820, silver not hallmarked but tested for purity. Measurement based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7cm/3in, width 2cm/0.75in.
