A petite spherical crystal dressing table bottle with a hinged silver top, silver collar, and glass stopper. The bottle has stepped ring shoulders and is cut with hobnails and diamonds between parallel grooves, the base is embellished with an eighteen point star. Condition: minor dimpling to the silver top; one or two minute nicks to edges and high points; minor age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good closure. Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1920, maker's mark "RP" for Robert Pringle. Measurement based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7.5cm/3in, diameter 6cm/2.5in.
