A stylish crystal dressing table scent bottle with a silver gilt engine turned screw top, and glass stopper. The rectangular bottle is engraved in a double line grid pattern, the base is embellished with a sixteen point star. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; minor interior bloom; nothing further found. Silver gilt top hallmarked for London 1942, additional stamped letter "K", somewhat rubbed maker's mark "MN&WB" for Mappin & Webb. Other pieces from this dressing table set also on offer. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 10.5cm/4.25in, width 5.5cm/2.25in, depth 4cm/1.5in.
